Hi! I’m an Asian American illustrator and graphic designer based in Brooklyn, New York, with a focus on print production and motion graphics. My practice blends analog and digital techniques—combining ink and gouache with tools like Photoshop, Procreate, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects.
Much of my work is rooted in personal narratives, family stories, and mythology, often exploring themes of Asian American cultural identity. I’m drawn to the fantastical and surreal, with a strong influence from speculative fiction, which includes fantasy and science fiction.
I developed a love for printmaking–specifically risograph printing–through an internship at lucky risograph, where I continue now as a freelance print technician and designer. Risograph printing continues to shape both my creative process and visual style.
Manga was my first artistic inspiration—something I discovered in my local library at an early age. It’s been a formative influence in my life, so I’m especially excited to be starting a freelance role with Penguin Random House in July, working with Square Enix Manga & Books.
